Feb 11 Meeting Notes

Mark’s Software and Web picks. Mark showed a short, funny video that was edited from the iPad announcement video. It had all the times that anyone said “wonderful”, “magical”, “incredible”, etc.

Upcoming Macintosh models,  iPad non-rumors and other information useful for Apple Users.

Chelsie Hall of “Hall Or Nothing Design Studios” (Pictured above beside Mark Spain) revealed several useful tips on using Automator in graphic arts and PDF workflows. Some attendees commented that she had just save them quite a bit of work or that they wish they had heard the presentation two weeks ago.

Walt Sellers talked about the abilities of this new FLMUG website and how it will help us deliver to our members in the future. Walt also showed us the “Book Book” case for MacBook laptops. It does an excellent job of making a MacBook look like a large hardback book or photo album.
